If you have a problem with a repair done by Sole Brother, you have to get in touch with us within one month of receipt of your repaired shoes. We will not accept any returns after this one month period.
Damage is often sped up by lack of shoe maintenance and whether shoes are stored for example in direct sunlight or near a heat source like a radiator. This can cause delamination.
We also recommend that you clean your shoes after each climb, removing chalk and dirt. Climbing shoes are designed for climbing and not for walking around, or belaying, for that matter.
We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by poor technique and footwork, or the lack of general shoe maintenance.

You should never wait until you have holes in your shoes as you immediately destroy the integrity of that footwear.
Sole Brother would recommend getting your shoes repaired when they’re 80% worn. Things to look out for, just before you start to lose the inside edge of the sole & it starts to curve off or just before even better this clear indication that a fresh Resole is required. Continue past this point you will start to damage the upper rubber/Rands & further repair work will be required. Continue past that point & you will start to put holes through the lasts of shoe & then it’s not repairable.
If you have gone through the stitching and created a hole, this is not repairable. But if you have just pierced the upper rubber/rands, then select this repair. Still unsure? Send us a pic of your shoes.
If you have Five:Ten or Unparallel climbing shoes you have to book a Resole & Rand Repair.
Why?
All worn Five:Ten and Unparallel climbing shoes need the toe-rand area replaced when resoling. Often, this area of the shoe has weakened and is sometimes worn-through when it is time for resole. This is a critical spot that needs to be repaired to ensure the adhesives bond to the new rubber soles. This is due to the design of the actual shoe.
Sometimes Rands are required even if you catch the damage to your shoes early. The reason for this is that the underside of the Rand construction is damaged. This is a critical spot that needs to be repaired to ensure the adhesives bonds to the new rubber soles. Sole Brother will get in contact should additional Rands be required.
Sole Brother uses a sustainable rubber on all shoe repairs.
